Chapter 4
Data Analysis and Findings
This chapter presents the findings from data that were collected and analyzed from video recordings of supervisory meetings and follow up interviews. The chapter consists of several sections. First, participant pair profiles were developed to introduce the participants who shared their experiences and aided this research. Within each of these profiles are the process and content themes derived from inductive analysis. Following this is a section that presents data from a deductive analysis.
The inductive data analysis began once the supervisory meeting data were converted from audio and video recordings to transcribed text. Data reduction began with reading and re-reading the transcribed data. Next,

In this example, the supervisor is making a statement and the supervisee affirms what the speaker is saying, but does not add any content to the conversation. The supervisor then added to the previous statement.
Asking questions is simply when the supervisor or supervisee asks a specific question. Examples of asking questions Supervisor: Did you put somewhere in your notes about inconsistent progress? Supervisee: No. I need to insert that in the report.
Laughing was an emergent theme observed in the data. Laughing is described as either the supervisor or supervisee laughing during statements. Laughing occurred both by the speaker and the listener separately or simultaneously. For example: Speaker: I am not good at assessment (-- removed HTML --) Listener: (-- removed HTML --) I wasn’t either, I had to study hard.
Directives was the final theme that emerged in the data. Directives are defined as giving a specific instruction or task to be completed. For example:
Supervisor: You need to have all your data recorded in your document before you submit it to me.
In the above example the supervisor is clearly telling the supervisee to do a task.

He identified his weaknesses as not being as independent as he wanted and adjusting in therapy. The male supervisee felt that his supervisor was open and available, but he indicated that he needed longer meeting times with the supervisor. He believed his supervisor’s strengths were that she was a “get to the point” type of person, she consistently offered her time, she was “up front” with him, she had years of experience, she was willing to help, she communicated well with him, and she had a lot of knowledge in the subject
SOF – The single dominant start of frame bit marks the start of a message, and is used to synchronize the nodes on a bus after being idle. Identifier-The Standard CAN 11-bit identifier establishes the priority of the message. Lower the value of identifier, its priority will be higher. RTR – The single remote transmission request (RTR) bit is used by the sender to inform receivers of the frame type.
P1 Explain the issues organisations must consider when planning computer systems maintenance The issues that organisations must consider when planning a computer system are as follow; Employee and Employer Responsibilities - It is the Cortex’s’ responsibility to make sure the employee is allowed to have scheduled breaks when they require them. As part of their contract they also have to provide the employee with the correct ergonomic equipment so they can do their job and work efficiently, this means that the employee is more effective and reliable when working from their desk as they have the correct equipment. Employees also have a responsibility this is making sure they use the business network entirely for work related purposes and not for downloading anything that infringes the contractual agreement they have in place this is known as the Acceptable Usage Policy. Cortex is also protected by the Computer Misuse Act.
P1: describe the potential prompt that initiate the installation of new upgraded software There are different reasons that would prompt people to upgrade their software. This could be the response to a bug that is identified or it can allow the hardware device to run more efficiently so that it can improve the functionality of the software when you upgrade it. You must be aware of these prompts so that when a software upgrade shows up you should always act with them in an appropriate manner in some situations it is important for ensuring the security of your computer systems. Problems with existing systems PC can become slower or develop a fault and to fix it, it would be necessary to install new software on the computer.
To select the sample for this study, data will be collected from two businesses; Alabama Power and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. The surveys will include segments in which the participants were asked to give an account of their; workplace, supervisor-subordinate relationship, leadership, employee performance, and organizational performance at the workplace (Scheidt-Nave et al., 2012). The other possible data collection may come from Survey Monkey. The instruments used for this study will be the OPS (all 67 participants will evaluate the organization), 360-degree feedback (57 subordinates will evaluate their supervisors and 10 supervisors will evaluate their subordinates), and the GRS (10 supervisors will evaluate their subordinates and 57 subordinates will evaluate

APUSH Unit 2 Long Essay In 1603, the English were still a small rising nation, poorer than most, and less powerful than Spain and France. Although the British colonies settled in the Americas late, they quickly became a dominant force in the new world. After they acquired their first permanent settlement in Jamestown, VA in 1607, the British became attracted to greater power and more land, which was the first building block of perhaps the most powerful European nation of the time period. Due to their growth in the Americas, the British were able to be compared to the Spanish colonies of the time period, which boosted the English’s confidence.
Lester B. Pearson The Earth is an extremely diverse planet, but have you ever wondered about where the most multicultural cities in the world are located? Toronto is ranked among the most multicultural cities in the world (Morfin). Around the globe, Canada is thought of for its diversity, and bilingualism. All of these have been achieved because of Lester B. Pearson, Canada’s Prime Minister from 1963-1968 (Bothwell).
First, laughter affects the patients in the ward positively because it creates a better atmosphere for them. When McMurphy first arrived, the ward was very dull. The Acutes were playing board games and the Chronics were doing as much as they could, even though that included little to no movement or activity. When McMurphy walked in, he turned heads and was already defying authority. Then, he started laughing and everything seemed to begin changing.
When McMurphy laughs, “it’s so genuine that he spread[s] his laugh out across the water” (Keasy 250). While his laughter is not literally spreading across the water, it is so genuine and infectious, that its joy and power burst out of him and can be heard for a very long distance. By laughing so genuinely, McMurphy also gives that power to each of the patients that are with him. His laughter quickly becomes their laughter, and soon they are all laughing together.
And he told them. Laughing too, hard, loud, and long” (280). Before the journey Milkman did not like to laugh with others. He did not like to acknowledge his faults. He would try to cover up his faults.
What outcomes will be analyzed and how they will be analyzed? Although the veterans are asked their full name and last four of their social security, the scanning provides the added comfort of providing the security or safety for everyone involved. The outcome of this research will show data that will be analyzed pre and post implementation of the BMCA system, which the approach is to show a significant change in the medication error rate. The outcome will be based on pre and post implementation of the barcode medication system by measuring the medication error rate.
In the novel laughter play a major role by representing a type of freedom and an escape from nurse Ratched’s restrictions. Laughter proves a vital role in helping the patients deal with their problems. Not only does
In this quote it shows how even though they are laughing along with the girl, it is not necessarily laughing
They start to learn that laughter is a powerful tool in helping the world be a happier place. Berger talks about how laughter can change the world and change what is viewed as powerful (p. 71). Laughter goes beyond what is facts and allows for the escape of the mind. I agree with Berger’s idea here because no matter who you are or what you have done death does not care you are going to die. Nothing at this time can change that fact, it is just part of the empirical way of life.
