The Layers of Power Language in Politics Just like the Earth, the purpose of power language in politics can be broken down into different layers. In order to showcase not only what power language is, but its prevalence in politics. The layers of power language in politics start with, how power language is prevalent in politics. By going a layer deeper it shows the facts and statistics that back up power language used in politics. When you get to the layer closest to the core you examine more personable accounts to prove the prevalence, and finally the last and deepest layer, the core of power language. This is where first account perspective came into play. In order to get the bigger picture of the significance of power language in politics, multiple perspectives are key. Understanding the point of view from different ages, genders, ethnicities, sexualities, locations, and perspectives are crucial. After doing phone, email, and personal interviews I got a different perspective of what power language in politics looks like. The main things I noticed were how many people were informed about politics. The ones who immersed themselves in politics had more specific examples and those subjects who weren’t as informed stuck more to the basics of politics such as front-runners of the elections. I also noticed quite a few of the subjects just got into politics this year because it was so prominent in today’s …show more content…

The Earth makes up so many different layers and can explain how power language is used in politics. The first layer shows how power language is prevalent in politics. The next layer shows the facts and statistics that back up the power of language used in politics. When you get closer and closer to core the more personable accounts come into play and proves its prevalence today. Finally, you reach the last and deepest layer, which is the core. The core is where the root of the circumstance you 're trying to prove comes from. It is the layers on top of the core that determine your stand on an issue or circumstance.
