Anyone who takes a pro-life position believes that a fetus is a human life and is, thus, entitled to the same legal protections as any other human being. Those who are pro-choice however, strongly believe that women should have the right to choose whether or not she should have an abortion and that the government should have no power over their bodies. Even though I don’t think the government or any human being should be able to use abortion as a channel or means to control the bodies of females, I strongly hold to be true that fetuses deserve the right to live and nobody should be able to deprive them from life. Therefore, I declare myself as leaning pro-life. Those who are Pro-Choice claim that it 's the mother 's choice on what to do, but what about the child 's? I completely agree that women deserve a right to choose what they want to do with their own body, but not at the cost of another living being. Unless a woman is raped, she had a choice. There are so many forms of birth control offered and widely available for anyone in need of them. You choose to have sexual intercourse and you choose whether or not to take proper precautions in order to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. Abortion is a class issue because poor and working class women may not be able to afford abortions, thus contributing to social inequality. This would mean fewer unwanted babies in middle and upper class families, but a greater economic strain on low-income families.
