For example, one day I was driving with my sister and she was sitting in the back seat of the car. Suddenly I got a message and I just ignored it, after awhile I got a new message too. I grabbed my phone to check them and then I started reading them. I forgot about driving and all my focus was on the text that was on my cellular. Unfortunately, I crashed into two cars in front of me and my car was damaged a lot, but Luckily no one got hurt. From that collision I started to leave my phone in the back or in a spot that I can’t reach while driving. Not all countries have banned using cell phones in the vehicle. The banning will only decrease collisions and not stop collision once and for all. People are still going to get away with using the cell phone and driving. Several United States cities and other countries such as Canada have considered banning the use of cellphones while driving. In conclusion, texting while driving should be banned and police should increase the amount of the tickets for people who do it. texting driving is not safe and a lot of people got car accident I’m a testimony of that. If people focused on driving, had full control and if texting while driving was completely banned then the road a safer
Although there would be negative consequences if texting while driving would be banned and you were to be caught, it is better than regretting and living with shame once a calamity were to occur because of your carelessness and stubborn self. Texting while driving should be banned to decrease these irrational happenings that could easily be avoided if only people would stop giving their attention to a cellphone instead of the road
Today, with the increase in technological dependency, many car accidents are caused by the use of cellphones while driving. However, if a law restricts people from using their cellphones while driving, the amount of lawbreaking in the United States would increase and people would be more consumed in worrying about not using their phones than actually focusing on driving their best, potentially causing more accidents. I do not support this law and disagree with the idea of illegalizing cellphone use while driving. It has become part of human nature to rely on technological advances for a myriad of things.
The exchange of money between two consenting adults should not be a crime. If both parties agree on the amount of money and the activity they are preforming, there should be no problem. The idea that a law exist that you can be arrested by having consensual sex with a person is repulsive. What happens between you and another person is between you and them. There should be no other parties involved.
The problem at hand is that texting while driving could increase the occurrence probability of accidents for motor vehicle. The drivers should know all the laws about driving in any state they go to. Even the state could benefit of texting while driving law when someone break the law the person has to pay a fine.
The article, “Texting And Driving Statistics” by Angelica Leicht & Heidi Gollub, is about distracted driving and death and accident rates, “In 2020, 396 people in total were killed as a direct result of accidents caused by texting and driving. That amounts to more than one death per day.” (Leicht and Gollub) This proves that distracted driving is a bigger problem
Texas Legislators create laws and policies that helps the society become more responsible and creates a safer environment. Many laws can be created and put into action with the help of citizens abiding to them. Without rules (which are clearly broken anyways), anyone can just do whatever they please, and most times that can create more issues than having rules rather than having the community have a free for all. Some important law that should be focused on are banning cell phones while driving, child welfare, and border security .
She lost control of her car clipped an oncoming car, flipped two-and-a-half times, and landed upside down in a ditch,” (Waugh). In this article “Texting and Driving” Koraza says that even when she gets a text message she feels the need to read it immediately. An article that Koraza uses in her own article says that “studies found that 21% of all reported injury crashes involved distracted driving.” Koraza also says “It is hard to resist texting while driving as it is easy to get away with.” This is showing that if there was a law in South Carolina on texting while driving, that less people would do it because they would be afraid of getting
Should The Government Banned Texting While Driving? Although Police cannot determine if the driver is texting while driving, and bans are becoming more effective, texting while driving should be banned because transportation cell phone systems are being installed into cars, apps are being made to stop teens from texting, and people are stopping the inappropriate use of mobile devices. In the early 1980s the mobile phone began to grow.
In Weinschenk, par. 2). She states that the seeking and reward factor of the dopamine system keeps us intrigued and wanting to learn more. If always active and ready to trigger it makes it less likely that we will stop searching for new information. She also explains that when we are satisfied with what we have found that isn’t always enough because we will always want more than what we are currently satisfied with (pars. 5, 6). This process makes it very difficult to ignore social media, so when we receive a notification while driving we are just unable to ignore our phones because our brain has the dopamine system active.

In conclusion, texting and driving is a danger on the road towards the driver and the other innocent people proving it to be a safety issue more than a moral issue. It is a safety issue because there are many negative and fatal things that can happen on the road taking people’s lives and good health. Every day accidents occur due to the person who caused the accident multitasking ←or→ not giving their full attention to the road in front of them. There should be a ban on texting while driving since
Since the early 2000 's, cell phone related car crashes have increased in number. Talking, texting, or merely glancing at a cell phone while being behind the wheel is a dangerous distraction while going 70, 50, or even 20 miles per hour. This is why I think that driving while using a handheld cellphone should be illegal. Talking on a cellphone is just as dangerous as texing, though some motorists would disagree, saying that talking on a cellphone is not as dangerous as texting, but they are very wrong. When a driver is concentrating on a conversation, they pay less attention to what is going on around them in favor of the voice in their ear.
Though laws have helped prevent cell phone use while operating a vehicle, cell phones still have only greatened the number of distracted driving accidents. Susan Henneberg is an author who focuses on writing about common issues in society. Both of these drivers were physically hurt all because of texting and driving.
