One main concern is the pollution caused by disposal of the rocket pieces in space. Due to the fact that most of the fuel tanks become extra unneeded weight as the rocket exits the gravity of earth. Some other "space debris" are old satellites, broken lost equipment, and boosters. The other problems are the safety hazards and the cost it presents to the people. The space program is very cost worthy and the economic problems have made people think about their actions towards private space programs. The thought these people have is making the space program small and remove jobs that lead to worse unemployment rates. The decisions that are made to change anything with these programs should not be taken lightly or without thought. I completely disagree with his points because they are in accurate and display no backing of evidence. Yost’s main claim was that we should cut the NASA’s budget and focus more on humanity than “planting flags on planets” (Yost). The space program is not the only department within the National Aeronautics and Space Administrations control. In fact, there are over 15 different departments within NASA and one of those is the department of earth science and research. The Earth Science and research department within NASA is responsible fore conducting tests on global climate change, in hopes of figuring out the mysteries of global warming.
Thus far NASA had primarily focused on taking baby steps to achieve what they had. While these achievement seem like incredible strides in our eyes, the amount of what remains in the universe to discover is limitless. Although in an ideal world we would have the resources necessary to continue growing at the same rate as during the Space Race, the current high costs of technology had created a roadblock in space travel. After examining the life of Neil Degrasse Tyson, one could only admit the impact he has made on modern society because of his scientific achievements and his selfless desire to teach the general public not only to learn about space, but to be curious about everything, has been astronomical.

Space has helped hone the skills of scientist. By using satellite technology for space, they were able to use the same concept for Earth. Even with all the benefits of space, its major down falls are cost, risks, and low chances of reward for their efforts. Many space explorations cost fortunes with little to come out of it, making it almost seem not worth it. The risk is another key factor, with little known about the majority of space, many outliers can appear out of nowhere and can cause death to anyone that happens to be working up there.
Age of Exploration was a period of time from thousands of years ago, during which European ships were traveled around the world searching for trading routes and partners to help Europe. Lands were used to maintain foods and keep them from spoiling. Lands, however, were expensive and dangerous to get. Traders had to travel from a land route from Europe to Asia to get them. Europeans were desperate to get lands from Asia.
Space exploration has long been a debated topic. From the days where there was controversy between whether the universe revolved around the Earth, because god made humans special, to whether Copernicus’s idea that the Earth and the other planets of the solar system revolve around the sun was true. Then there was the space race where there was a dilemma based on what was ethical to be produced and sent to space (such as weaponry during the cold war). The more contemporary problem involves the exploration of space and the danger that space debris poses. We must accept however that space is our back-up plan if we were to exploit the Earth to such an extent that we could no longer survive here.
What does make human mission to Mars beneficial?
