Romeo and Juliet Have you ever wonder if Romeo and Juliet’s deaths has to do with love or hate? William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet tells the stroy of two teenagers that love each other and their families hate each other. But when they die their families the parents rage has lifted. Hate is to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death. Hate is to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death. In the Prologue it says that their children’s death could not remove the grudge the families have. In the Prologue it states, “ Which, but their children’s end, nought could remove,” (Prologue 11). This implies that the Capulets and Monagues’ hate did led to their children’s death. This led to the families fighting in the streets. The hate has not broke until they …show more content…

For instance, when Romeo and Juliet take their lives cause of their parent’s rage in the Prologue 11, some may argue that the two families' children died because they couldn’t stop fighting. But, Romeo and Juliet’s death couldn’t remove their parent's rage for each other. This led to their death because they couldn’t stop fighting. However, this thinking is wrong because if Romeo hadn’t been banished from Verona they won’t be dead. Additionally, some may argue that when Romeo gets upset and wants to kill Tybalt in (3.1.81-84), Romeo is upset that his best friend Mercutio is dead this is what influences his action. Romeo is willing to kill Tybalt to get revenge for him killing Mercutio. This action got Rome banished from Verona. His best friend is dead and can’t come back to Verona, so this is another reason for his death. However, this thinking is incorrect becuase they won’t be dead if their parents didn’t have rage. Lastly, when it explains the grudge their parents have against each other, in the Prologue 3, some may argue that the two families have a grudge that led to Romeo and Juliet’s actions. Their families have a grudge from a long time ago that still was going on until their children's death. This influences their death becuase of their parent’s grudge.
