This presentation is "an effort to document the history, tradition, and culture of hot tamales from Tunica to Vicksburg" in the Mississippi Delta. Tamales came to the Delta in the early 20th century when Hispanic laborers began making their way up from Texas. Features oral histories, a map with vendor locations, and illustrated recipes.
