This exhibit celebrates Natalie Vivian Scott (1890-1957), "decorated war hero, a celebrated newspaperwoman, an award winning playwright, a wilderness explorer, a Red Cross nurse, translator, teacher and social worker." She was "the only American woman in ... [World War I] to earn France's highest medal for courage, the Croix de Guerre."
