The EIA is the national trade association for the electronics manufacturing sector. This site provides links to upcoming EIA events, sections of its annual report, press releases, and EIA departments and divisions such as its Product Service Department, Assistive Devices Division, Engineering Department, Public Affairs Department, Government Division, and Electronic Design Interchange Format Division. It also links to its Consumer Electronics Manufacturing Association.

"ETA International is a not-for-profit world wide professional association. It was founded by electronics technicians and servicing dealers in 1978. Those dedicated professionals saw the need for an association that was totally independent of any industry influences on its technicians. The sole purpose of our association is to provide recognized professional credentials as a testament to an individualšs skills and knowledge in a particular area of study. Membership is voluntary in our organization. We recognize all industry standards and are dedicated to upholding the highest degree of professionalism in examination development and administration." The Institute for Interconnecting and Packaging Electronic Circuits

"The IPC is the association for the electronic interconnection and packaging industry including printed circuit (wiring) board manufacturers and electronics manufacturing services (contract electronics assembly) companies. IPC has over 2200 member in 57 countries and is an ANSI accredited Standards Developing Organization (SDO). IPC also provides market research on these industries, extensive education and training programs for the industry including skills standards and operator profiency training and certification. Site includes a Product and Service Locator Service for companies trying to identify other companies that manufacture printed circuit boards or provide electronics manufacturing service (contract assembly). Site also includes information on accessing email listservers dedicated to technical interchange related to printed circuit board manufacture and electronics assembly. Industry calendar of events.
