The Bread Bakers Guild of America

A non-profit organization, based in Pennsylvania, whose objective is "to reward the Nobility & the Quality of craftsmen's work". One of its goals is to "promote interaction and the exchange of information between craftsman bakers, their suppliers, and specialists in the science of baking and baking ingredients." BBGA has several activities including presenting seminars, publishing books, bulletins and newsletters and conducting "research in the processes, equipment, and ingredients used in artisan baking." Members are offered various opportunities to improve their craft and achieve excellence. There are varying membership fees for companies, individuals and students. The illustrations in the website are appropriate. There's a lot of information about the guild and clickable links to other sections of the website.
The Food Allergy Network

The website includes information on research for food allergies, FAN membership, recipes, access to resources, and links to related sites.
Herb Society (UK) Online

This United Kingdom herbalist society has world wide membership, and they say, "Growers and gardeners, botanists and medical herbalists, researchers and historians, cooks, crafters, aromatherapists, beauticians, and garden designers all can find something of interest in the Herb Society." This web site has a wide variety of quality articles about herbs.
National Hot Dog and Sausage Council
