"AACT is a national theatre organization representing more than 1000 member companies and serving as an advocate for more than 7,000 theatre groups." The site includes information about AACT, job listings, events and festivals, play publishers, playwriting contests, and monthly tips.
Playwrights Union of Canada

"The national, non-profit association of professional playwrights. It represents approximately 335 members, distributes more than 1,500 Canadian plays, and publishes 6-7 trade paperbacks annually. Important criteria for membership are: Canadian citizenship, or landed immigrant status; and having written at least one professionally produced play." Site includes information about the association and its publications; "Who's Who in the Playwrights Union of Canada: A complete index of PUC members, with photos, biographies, and lists of productions, publications and awards;" and "A database of every play available from PUC. Search by author, title, or style to generate a list of plays, complete with synopsis and casting information. Then, with a click of the button, order the play via e-mail."

Site includes information on membership and bi-annual festivals.
