Western

A collection of primary and secondary materials in Western philosophy from antiquity through the 21st century. This collection includes materials by and about major philosophers, such as Plato, Descartes, Marx, and Nietzsche, as well as materials about major Western themes such as metaphysics and ontology.

The Society publishes the British Journal for the Philosophy of Science. The site features a list of committee members, a membership form to print out, and links to the contents and abstracts of the Journal.
The Hegel Society of America

"The Hegel Society of America was founded in 1968 at the Wofford Symposium in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Its purpose, as stated in its charter of incorporation as a learned society, is to promote the study of the philosophy of Hegel, its place within the history of thought, its relation to social, political, and cultural movements since his time, and its relevance to contemporary issues and fields of knowledge. HSA membership is currently around 400." Site includes conference announcements and calls for papers, information on Owl of Minerva, the official journal of HSA (including a 25-year index), a membership directory, and a list of relevant mailing lists.

Society for Gestalt Theory and Its Applications

"The Voltaire Foundation is a department of the University of Oxford specialising in research and publications on the European Enlightenment and on the eighteenth century in general. The Foundation was created in 1971 by Theodore Besterman, in order to continue the publication, in England, of the series of editions and studies previously published in Geneva, under the name of the Institut et muse Voltaire." This searchable site includes full texts, news, images, announcements of conferences and other events, lists of publications, and links to other resources.
