International Dark-Sky Association

The International Dark-Sky Association's goal is to educate the public about the environmental impact of light pollution, radio interference, and space debris. This site contains links to related organizations and newsgroups, newsletters and information sheets, images of light pollution, and membership and organizational information.
International Occultation Timing Association

"Encourages and facilitates the observation of occultations and eclipses. It provides predictions for grazing occultations of stars by the Moon and predictions for occultations of stars by asteroids and planets, information on observing equipment and techniques, and reports to the members of observations made." The IOTA web site includes astronomical data, eclipse and occultation predictions, meteor shower predictions, comet predictions, and newsletters.
International Meteor Organization

"The International Meteor Organization (IMO) was founded in 1988 and has more than 250 members now. IMO was created in response to an ever growing need for international cooperation of meteor amateur work. The collection of meteor observations by several methods from all around the world ensures the comprehensive study of meteor showers and their relation to comets and interplanetary dust." Site contains "information about meteor observing techniques, analyses and recent results from world-wide data, a list of meteor showers, glossary, meteor-related projects, addresses and more."
