Arab American Institute

Founded in 1985, the Arab American Institute represents Arab American interests in government and politics. "The Institute provides leadership training and strategies in electoral politics and policy issues that concern Arab Americans." The site includes information on hot topics and political action; background about Arab Americans; publications; and links.
Middle East Studies Assocation

Organized in 1966 by American and Canadian scholars on the Middle East, The Middle East Studies Association of North America, Inc., seeks to further high quality of scholarship and instruction in Middle Eastern Studies, improve communication among Middle East scholars through conference meetings and publications, and foster cooperation among people and associations concerned with the serious study of the Middle East. The site lists the leaders and the publications available from the MESA. It has two links. One is a copy of the membership application and the other is the MESA Bulletin with online articles from recent issues, guides for study, and recordings available for Middle Eastern music
