| About Ophelia and ParsifalOphelia is a retired librarian owl. There aren’t many left of her kind but there used to be a day when all libraries had owl librarians. That is why owls have the reputation of being very wise. Parsifal is a retired penguin. If you think that is as simple as it sounds, it is not. Penguinship is not a choice but a calling. There are very few really successful penguins but suffice it to say Parsifal is one of these few. Because of his resounding success he can afford to travel the world in his retirement. Ophelia, living in Fowlerville, Michigan (it is all farmland, lots of barns) and Parsifal in Antarctica began their long correspondence when they were just chicks. They were introduced through a pen pal program at their respective schools and have exchanged letters by carrier pigeon ever since. Ophelia Owl and Parsifal Penguin have become best friends, though they have never actually met beak to beak. They have shared their innermost thoughts and feelings in their letters and have been planning their world tour for years. Bon Voyage, Ophelia and Parsifal! |
