THE CITY: The Zone's Demise

We always had problems with that suburban city. That city never wanted to give us an inch from day one. It was hard to get things started and hard to keep things going. There was incessant nonsense. Cops hassled the patrons continuously. It was stifling creativity. I had to threaten legal action just to open. I felt I was discriminated against because I was young and because of what I planned on doing in a conservative community. There is strip joint just down the street, what are they doing that's so good? But they had the money to throw around. I never had money on my side, but it's not about the money. Soon that city closed our doors.
