DETROIT: Anonymity

Detroit would made things much easier. I always had the perception that a larger urban area was a place of anonymity and solitude, quieter, freer. Some people believe that when you go out into the country you can get away and be your own person and do your own thing. But when you live in a small town, all your neighbors know your business, creating speculation and rumors. In a big city you can be weird and no one will notice you because they don't even know you. It's anonymity.
