Hillsboro Inlet Light

Pompano Beach, Florida


Built: 1907

Located between Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale on the north side of Hillsboro Inlet, this 137-foot tall octagonal, pyramidal iron skeleton tower has a metal cylinder housing the 175 stairs. This automated beacon is still active today.
