Oakville Light

"Oakville, Ontario, Canada"


Built: 1889
Decommissioned: Early 1960's

"Originally built at the end of a pier jutting out into Lake Ontario, this 25 foot high tower now stands on shore at a private marina along 16 Mile Creek. It had replaced the original lighthouse built on the pier in 1837."
