Presque Isle Harbor Breakwater Light

"Marquette, Michigan"


Built: 1941

"Located in Presque Isle Park north of downtown Marquette, this steel cylindrical tower atop an octagonal building sits at the end of a 2,600 foot breakwater that juts out into Lake Superior. It continues in operation today. (Photo 2002, Trip #39)"
