New Canal Light

"New Orleans, Louisiana"

Built: 1890

"This two story structure with its light tower rising from the middle of its hip roof, sits on the south shore of Lake Pontchartrain at the entrance to the New Canal which connects the lake to downtown New Orleans. The still active light is a prominent feature of Lakefront Park."
