- Memoirs of Montparnasse: a Reflection of Myself
- http://www.uwo.ca/english/canadianpoetry/cpjrn/vol13/tausky.htm
- "'An accomplished liar': so John Glassco describes himself in an early chapter of Memoirs of Montparnasse. In this essay, the implications for the Memoirs itself of this candid self-assessment are examined through a detailed comparison between the final text and the manuscript. The evidence supplied by the manuscript not only necessitates reinterpretation of Glassco's aims as an autobiographer, but also makes it possible to use his work as a text by means of which to explore the wider theoretical issues raised by the presence of fiction in autobiography."
