Steve Crow, 1949-

Steve Crow was born in Alabama. He began writing poetry in high school. Crow studied at the Louisiana State University, majoring in English and creative arts. In 1971 Crow entered for a M.F.A program at Bowling Green . In 1976, he began doctoral work in English at the University of Minnesota. He developed and taught a survey course in contemporary Native American literature at the University of New Mexico.
