Julian Lang

Karuk

Julian Lang is a storyteller and a poet. He is the speaker of Karuk and tribal scholar. He says he writes fo r the enjoyment of his own people and also to allow outsiders to get as close as possible to experiencing Karuk literature. Lang wrote about Indian tobacco in Northwestern California. Lang is one of the Board of Directors of the Ink People – Center for Arts.
