Chief Dode McIntosh
Waldo E. "Chief Dode" McIntosh was born in Carthage, Tennessee and was a principal chief of the Creek Nation. He was educated in public and tribal schools, and served in World War I. He also invented and patented "Creek Indian Plaid."
