Dr. Tony Mack McClure (a native Tennessean) is a mixed- blood Cherokee descendant. He wrote a extensive guide to researching one's Cherokee's ancestors. McClure is a member of the Native American Journalists Association, the Wordcraft Circle of Native Writers and Storytellers, and is involved with the Tennessee Chapter of the National Trail of Tears Association.
