Steven J. Crum , 1950-

Steven James Crum is an enrolled member of the Shoshone-Paiute Tribes of the Duck Valley Indian Reservation, Owyhee, Nevada. He is currently on the faculty of the Native American Studies Department at UC Davis. He has previously taught at California State University, Chico. He received his PhD from the University of Utah in 1983. He is the author of many scholarly articles and the book The Road on Which We Came: A History of the Western Shoshone.
