Jef Lockwood is a poet of Chippewa ancestry, who currently lives in the Cabinet Mountains of Montana but continues to call his birthplace in Michigan's Upper Pennisula home. He has published his poetry in various academic and creative publications, and has recieved numerous awards. He is a recient graduate of the MFA-Writing program at Goddard College, Plainfield, Vermont.
