Ron Querry was born in Washington D.C.. Querry received his Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico in 1975. His career has included professor at University of Oklahoma, and service in the U.S. marine Corps. He is a member of Native Writers Circle of the Americas; PEN; and Tucson Pima Copunty Arts Commission.
