Conrail westbound manifest
at Gallitzin, Pennsylvania
Gallitzin is Conrail's highest point in the Allegheny mountains. Trains working west from Altoona, Pennsylvania will crest the summit inside one of three tunnels located here. The train to the left is a westbound approaching the summit. The one to the right has already crested the hill and is starting its descent into Altoona.
