Working west from Kansas City, Santa Fe trains cross the flat farmlands of Kansas. Because of the flat terrain and top-notch trackwork these trains are able to travel to top speed across Kansas on their way to the west coast. Here a westbound train of autoracks heads through Ottawa in Eastern Kansas.
