I believe that the movie A Christmas Carol is better than the written version. Neither one is ungood, but the movie seems to exceed the book. Granted it does not explain as much in the early parts. They both are about the same man, Ebernezer Scrooge. Scrooge is shown as about the same in both. There are very many comparisons between the two, like how in the beginning Scrooge seems very rude and dreadful in each. He has but a candle to keep his office warm in the beginning.
