Interview Narrative
As soon as I got the opportunity to interview Aileen Ginez, I asked her questions about her college. Aileen Ginez is an intelligent and hardworking single mother with two sons and two daughters. Aileen is a very caring parent and has a rewarding job as a nurse. The major she chose in her college was nursing, “It was nursing and I chose it because I wanted to become a nurse so I did.” Not only she will talk about her adult-life, she will also talk about before that.
Aileen Ginez grew up in Caloocan City, Philippines. Then, she moved to Michigan in the USA with her family and stayed there for about 7 years and then they moved to Fairfield, California on 2008. “It took like five days just to get to Fairfield,” said
Amber Butz 219 E. 9th St. Northampton, Pa. 18067 (610) 844-8174 was advised of the identity of Investigator Sean P. Brennan and of the confidential nature and purpose of the interview, Butz, provided the following information: Butz explained that she started on Judge Tidd’s staff in September 2012 until December 2013. Butz is now working in the 911 Center in Northampton. Butz is the daughter of Brenda Anthony. Butz was starting to learn how to do the paperwork when Tidd would tell her he needed her to run and get him a soda at the gas station or run over and get him something either to eat. When Tidd would tell her Butz to do this or that she felt like she couldn’t say no to him.
Evelia Ramos was born in Jalisco, Mexico. She was born in September 11, 1980. When she was older, her and my dad decided to get married. Then they decided to move to Oakland California. When they came to California they were expected to get a better life they would have in Mexico.
Aileen Wuornos was born on February 29th 1956 in Rochester, Michigan. Her parents, Leo Dale Pittman and Diane Wuornos, had a troubled marriage. Her mother was a teen mother who was reckless and wasn’t ready for the responsibilities of being a mother. Her father was a psychopathic child molester. Diane then abandoned Aileen and her older brother, Keith, and Diane’s parents, Lauri and Britta Wuornos, then adopted them and cared for them as their own.
Cleo Clayton is my second interview; she’s a 40 years old Jamaican American woman working class. The role that class race gender has played in her life is that she’s always had to work harder and smarter to make it in the corporate world, because she believes that all the odds are against her due to the fact that she’s a black women and she is also from a foreign country. Coming from a beautiful blended family’s that have a strong connection, when she turn 30 her mother diseased and her father was very involve in their family lives. Be that as it may both of her grand parents were very active and involves in their lives, always encouraging and continuously pushing her and her siblings to persuade their education and to strive for better
She describes her family as “abusive and very poor.” For her, the school became a break from her tumultuous home life, a place where she saw adults who lived their
I chose to read the article about Andrea Yates. The article started out by talking about Andrea (Kennedy) Yates’ achievements in her younger years, such as, being the class valedictorian, officer in the National Honor Society (NHS) and she was also captain of her swim team (Andrea Yates: Post-Partum Psychosis n.d. ). She later went on to become and work as a Registered Nurse (RN) (Andrea Yates: Post-Partum Psychosis n.d. ). In her mid twenties she met Rusty Yates, however, it was odd that she approached him as many people described her as a recluse (Andrea Yates: Post-Partum Psychosis n.d. ).
Good afternoon! I am Julia Garcia. Have you ever asked yourself about how many people are accused of crimes that they did not commited, and so they were arrested? There is nothing so unfair as the police condemn you for something you didn’t do, based on confusing denunciations or empty clues, stories like this often happen, with innocent people getting behind bars for homicide, rape, robbery and other crimes that they did not commit. Because of that problem when I grow up, if that’s possible, I am gonna be a defense lawyer.
We chose to do an interview with Oedipus and Jocasta as the interviewees. We based this interview on the T.V. show “The Maury Povich Show.” Nora would play the role of Maury, while Lance as Creon, half cameraman, and Teiresias. Zach as Jocasta and Derek will play Oedipus and be half cameraman. Maury will be asking though questions towards Oedipus about his kingdom and his past murders.
Thinking back on the interview I can sense a lot of the responses had to with their life experiences because both interviewees seemed passionate about their response especially when speaking on health care cost and how there were times they couldn 't receive care or how they can 't receive care now due to lack of coverage or lack of funds to pay for co payments for medication, doctor visit, or urgent
In order to conduct the in depth college interview assignment, I decided to interview Lisbeth Luna, a 11th grade from Middle College High School at LaGuardia Community College Lizbeth Luna was born on Ecuador, she came to the United States with both of her parents and her brother when she was around four years old. Lisbeth, definitely describes herself as a Latino/Hispanic student. Lisbeth is eligible for free lunch, she actually stated that she believes everyone or the majority of students at her school are eligible for free lunch. Even though Lisbeth describes her first language to be Spanish, she stated that the majority of the time she finds herself speaking English with her friends and brother, expect with her parents. She attempts to talk in Spanish with her parents, but the majority of times she is always speaking English.
Kristina reaches out to her readers through repetition of argument, restatement of thesis, and explanation. Kristina continues to repeat her argument with factual numbers that do not match up to testing scores and keeps her point consistent unlike Rhee. Throughout her article Michelle Rhee contradicts herself by agreeing with the opposing side, which leaves her audience unconvinced. While both Rhee and Rizga did use great appeals the story with Maria and her life of overcoming obstacles grabs the reader's attention more opposed to logical appeal. Michelle Rhee explains the rough life of Maria in El Salvador with the MS-13 gangs, the loss of her aunt, and the struggle of entering school only knowing one language.
Mary’s sixteen month training made her a greater nurse. This training made it possible for her to be asked to speak for the NACGN, become a member of that association, and later become a member of the ANA. Mary’s active membership in the nursing associations, and her outstanding work as a nurse made it possible for an award to be named after her. It is because of Mary that women of all races who aspire to be in the nursing profession can make it through like Mary
The school started out with 7 students and has increased to almost 89 today. Some girls went to other high schools, others went on to college with a few getting their Master’s Degree, and still others became pregnant and dropped out. This prompted her to put a medical program in place to keep these girls from going back to their parents who did not have the money to feed them, or homes that were abusive. Gbowee backtracked to see what was happening and realized everything had to be linked. The medical program, and the social work program to evaluate each students.
The family I chose to interview for my paper is a good friend of my mine, we knew each other for years, we used to attend the same community college together that how we met we been good friends since them and I can truly said are friendships is more than just friends we depend on each other’s a lot. Her name is Adeline Tertilien she 40 years old married for 16 years have four children with her husband, I pick Adeline family to interview for my paper because Adeline and her family are in inspiration in my life they know what it means to care for one another and supported each other dreams. Adeline is older than me so I look up to her a lot, she a good examples of what superwomen will be like if superwomen was really because of her daily life
The following written task is from Part 4 English Language and Literature course with the novel Things Fall Apart. I have chosen to create an interview between Nowye, the son of Okonkwo’s first wife and Enzima, the daughter of Okonkwo’s second wife. Enzima, one of the minor characters reflects on the Igbo custom and beliefs, and his father Okonkwo’s deepest emotions. The main purpose of this interview is to reflect on how Enzima feels toward Okonkwo, which Nowye Enzima’s actions and words have made the audience know more about Okonkwo and his feelings. For example, when Enzima was taken away, it was the first time Okonkwo showed his vulnerability by showing care to his family.
