Fiction is defined as written stories about people and events that are not real: literature that tells stories which are imagined by the writer. Nonfiction is however based on true facts and a real story. Works of nonfiction are meant to be factual. This means magazine articles, newspaper stories, encyclopedia entries, interviews and textbooks are all nonfiction. Like the article “Adler’s Psychoanalytic ideas on development”. It contains a presentation of what Adler’s theory about sibling development in the family. Something which has happened. The best way to separate fiction from nonfiction is to identify which is fiction and which is not - stick to the facts. If there 's anything that can 't possibly be true, it 's fiction. But if you don 't know the truth, nonfiction can sometimes be identified based on the writing style. Nonfiction tends to presents information in a more straightforward way - often using years and dates as well as proper names of buildings, cities and people. As seen in the true Lifetime movie, Abducted: The Carlina White Story, in August 1987 twenty- five year old Ann Pettway had made an unthinkable decision, to abduct a newborn and raise it as her own. After going through her third miscarriage less than a month earlier and being told by the doctor that she would never be able to carry a baby full-term, she refused to accept the truth. It was nineteen days later when she would enter the same Harlem Hospital in New York City that she had her miscarriage at and pose as a nurse to “take matters into her own hands” as she had said while giving herself a pep talk in the bathroom. Throughout that night, while posing as a nurse, she walked the halls of the hospital’s children’s ward scanning for a newborn baby to take as her own.

Non fiction novels are great ways to make people aware of real life issues that happen everyday. People face poverty issues, racial issues, and environmental issues everyday of their life and are affected more than others. For example the environment is affected because of the different things people do in their everyday lives, like things that deal with fossil fuels and gas. Another example is race and how people are treated because of their specific race or religion. Issues like these are happening all around the world and most likely can be found in a nearby non-fiction novel.
The book has been qualified as a science fiction novel because it incorporates time travel, scientifically impossible for humans right now, but Dana somehow was able to do the impossible. The strongest form of loyalty is obedience founded by trust and powered by love, which cannot be replaced with intimidation and fear. When kindness is displayed to a given individual, it is capable of creating a strong core of purpose within oneself, forming loyalty through the desire to be near the one who gives them that affection. In contrast, brutality does the opposite, in hope to break that core enough for the person to resort to dependency Overall, cruelty pushes those under its control to break down, whereas kindness allows for people to strive.

But at times, my parents would do something odd and bizarre, such as talk really loud or argue with an employee. Their ridiculous actions would make me feel embarrassed and just want to stand somewhere far, far away from them. In the fictional short story “Abuela Invents The Zero”, Judith Ortiz’s main character, Constancia, feels the same way as me, humiliated. In addition, when she had to take her Abuela to church, she started to pray really loud and make a fool out of herself.
Throughout one’s life, one tends to adapt to the traditions of their family, and gain a significant bond with their loved ones, including their siblings. However, that connection a person gains can either be diminished or forgotten due to a sense of different mindsets between family members.
