Water is a crucial source in today’s society and it is being employed in incorrect ways. The article Water: Is There Enough and Is it Drinkable? focuses on how Americans treat water in various wasteful ways and its detrimental effects on humans and the environment. Moreover, there are various poisons such as lead in several of our water systems today especially in major cities where billions of citizens live. Lead is a health hazard to any citizen, thus, instead of drinking and sitting back citizens should speak up and/or take action to change the lead pipes. Furthermore, to alleviate the issue the author recommends pricing water not as cheep and implementing a water monitor that one pays as they utilize water so citizens will use water wisely.
