At around 1879 Ned’s group of bushrangers created the notorious metal armour they wore. 1880 the group shot dead a police informer called Aaron Sherritt. It is also the one where he was caught. It was bad for the townspeople and the gang, as both groups were killed or injured. There were eight outlaws left in the gang, and three of them went inside to rob the bank, while Cole and four more provided cover and kept watch on the street. Everything went wrong as soon as someone hit the alarm, and all the townspeople ran for their guns. They began to fire from behind walls, killing two gang members and badly injuring Bob Younger.
We’ve all heard the Australian stereotypes. But where do the stereotypes come from? Australia’s identity encompasses many widespread stereotypes, some of which are used advantageously to promote Australia on a global scale. Globally, Australia’s main stream identity is that of a baron outback. Adding to the collective stereotype; bogans and yobbos have played a developmental role in the Australians characteristic identity.
John Mosby’s Rangers The Civil War was one with one of the most lasting effects, the end of slavery in the United States, and in it came out many war heroes and clever and brave generals. There were also many unlikely heroic leaders in the Civil War, including John Mosby. John Mosby and his 43rd Virginia Cavalry may not have been on the winning side of the war, but their war tactics changed the way militaries fight. The 43rd Virginia Cavalry began, and had two of its many successful raids, on Fairfax County Courthouse and Herndon’s train station, with the help of John Mosby.

As DeArment elaborates, during the 1870s and the beginning of the 1880s some of the most popular gunfighters came into Dodge City, one of them being Wyatt Earp (33). When Rebein declares that Wyatt was the best at what he did, he explained that he gained this title at his previous positions in other towns acting as a peace officer, in his book (79). The Wyatt Earp heard of today has been manipulated with different views of our history. According to Carter, “Exaggerated and belittled, twisted by fiction and sometimes lost in legend, Wyatt Earp’s character and career have been variously represented. While he may not always have acted with the noblest of motives, he was nonetheless the prototype of the Western lawman” (67).
They suffered many acts of humiliation, including being ordered to shave their mustaches until they gave proof of their manhood, and being forced to use separate showering facilities from their non-Hispanic officers (Bystral, 2016). Other discriminative attacks they received involved orders that prohibited them from speaking Spanish under penalty of court martial. According to Brystal (2016), the Borinqueneers were forced to wear “I am a coward” signs, ordered to paint over their unit designation on their military vehicles and to discontinue their creole rations. All things considered, the Borinqueneers continued to perform their acts of patriotism all the way to the Cold War in Korea distinguishing themselves as true American war heroes.

Geronimo was an Apache warrior who was born in 1829 and became one of the most feared out of Indian leaders of the 19th century. When Geronimo was born he grew into becoming part of the Bedonkohe tribe, which at the time was one of the smallest band out of the Chiricahua Apache tribes. At that time in history, the Chiricahua Apaches, specifically the Bedonkohe tribe, would have lived in what is now New Mexico and Arizona in the United States of America. Geronimo is important because he was a warrior; he fought for his land and then only surrendered because surrendering was less important than his followers’ lives. When Geronimo became of age, he grew up in a time of bitter battle between the Chiricahua Apaches and the Mexicans in the South,
