Chris Kyle is not a name many people know, but for those of us who know who he is and what he has done; it is a name we will never forget. Chris Kyle himself had to go through this process and he saw the great potential that it had and he wanted to provide that to as many other people as he could. Another way he showed his greatness was with Charity he gave book profits to the families of his colleagues and also used some charity to help out wounded veterans. Chris Kyle was an incredible man and he managed to do all the great things and stay humble, he managed to go through everything that he went through and still manage to stay strong. Chris Kyle was an amazing Father, Husband, and none the less a fantastic marksman. He did many great things with his life those which are mentioned above but in short; he protected us from many, many miles away in a completely different country and managed to help bring some of our soldiers home safely. When he was little, Chris was taught by his dad how to shoot a rifle. As Chris grew up he became a rodeo cowboy for a few years before deciding that he wanted to be a SEAL He got interested in being a SEAL was because of the 1998 U.S. embassy bombing; eventually he was accepted for special training, which included BUDS,Basic Underwater Demolition. Chris McCandless was selfish. He threw away his support system, undervaluing the importance of family, friends, community and the sacrifice they all put forth to make sure he was wanting for nothing. McCandless was uncompromising and inconsiderate of how difficult it was for his parents to provide him the best lift they know how to give. Even when he was knocked down and couldn’t continue his career in bull riding, he found an even more endearing solution. Another lesson that could be learned is to make every moment count. No one knows when it will be their last day to live, Kyle certainly didn’t. Every day should be spent wisely. He had a lot of courage to willingly go and defend his country.
A perfect modern hero that reflects values of society is Kyle Carpenter. Many people know Carpenter as the recipient of the Medal of Honor because of his heroic acts in Afghanistan, but no one knows what he did to earn the highest military award. Carpenter was deployed in Afghanistan in 2010 where he saved the life of his fellow Marine by intentionally throwing himself on a grenade during a Taliban attack. During the incident Carpenter lost his right eye, and also suffered 30 fracture to his right arm with numerous other major and minor injuries.
