“I’ve failed over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed” (MJ). Michael with no doubt left the NBA as one of the greatest players to ever play the game of basketball. Now the question I’m gonna answer is who is better between Jordan and Kareem. Both players are well known players on and off the court but when it comes down to the best of the best MJ wins. Michael Jordan is a superior player to kareem because of his success on and off the court. The better player of the two is, Jordan. One reason is because of Jordan’s NBA finals stats. He is the only player in NBA finals history to never score less than 20 points in any of his finals games. Jordan led his team to the finals six times and came out victorious all six of those times. He was also named finals MVP all six times. Jordan has another amazing record when he scored 63 points against the Boston Celtics in 1986. Jordan’s success in the finals and post-season was an amazing feat that’ll probably never come close to being accomplished ever again (Zachmo Marsupalami.) But what makes Jordan superior is not only his on court success but also the success he has had off the court. Jordan has his own shoe brand (Air Jordan) and each year he earns an estimated amount of $60 million dollars(forbes.com). Jordan is also the owner of the Charlotte Hornets. His success of the the court shows his determination to stay successful and also to not go broke like many other retired NBA players or professional athletes. Kareem is not as successful as Jordan is off the court but he still has a little bit of success in his new life.
