I read a few articles and they all relate to my everyday life. One article in particular stated,” During the civil rights revolt of the 1950s and 1960, many Caucasian southerners did revive the use o the Confederate symbols, especially the Confederate flag and “Dixie” This was on the behalf of segregation and white dominance.
