The grandfather was the first to notice that they weren’t there anymore and had gone missing. The grandfather had called both the girls at about 4 PM and he got no answer. He had then called Becky Patty to say that the girls weren’t where they were supposed to be. He had then became concerned, that maybe they had to take an alternate route or that they had fallen and gotten hurt. The girls had gone missing the day before they were found along a property a half a mile east of the Monon High Bridge. The police released video footage on February 15, 2017 from one of the girl’s phones. The prime suspect is still unknown who had killed the girls. The Indiana State Police released a sketch of the killer. After the sketch was released, everyone compared it to Daniel Nations who had killed a biker in Colorado. There was also an audio from one of the girls’ phones and it recorded the killer saying “down the hill”. Everyday people are calling in tips and each tip is

First and foremost, one of the most destructive consequences that Abigail’s accusations create is the hangings of harmless beings. This is due to the rotten seed that her claims plant into everyone’s brain. The seed develops into a wicked, twisted weed and skews the visions of everyone in the town, including the people that form the backbone of the court system. Out of fear, the judge and court officials willingly accept Abigail’s allegations even though she does not provide any sufficient evidence. It is absent to the court officials’ knowledge that Abby and her comrades are actually faking the occurrences and visions they claim to have.
The Fate of Salem In the Hands of A Few The society of Salem in the 17th century was a state of deterioration. Some citizens of Salem were forced to lie about a crime they didn’t commit, or be killed because another citizen didn’t like them. What made this worse was the types of people who made these decisions on whether they were innocent or not. People who were regarded as having little influence under normal circumstances were making decision on people's’ lives. Everyone in Salem was paranoid about the devil, or that they might be the next person to be blamed of a fake crime.
The town of Salem was in a hysterical state. Citizens, gullible to the word of a young girl of seventeen, were in a panic. Like the citizens of the town, the court clutched to any word stated from any individual in the town. It was the word of witchcraft. The court picked off innocent people like flies in the suspicion that they been involved with some evil satanic power, and in an attempt to save themselves, they confessed to a lie, that they have committed witchcraft and pacted with the devil.
In the late sixteen hundreds, the mania of the Salem witch trials affected various families and individuals. In order for such terrible events to take place, an array of people catalyzed the trials. In Arthur Miller’s theatrical work The Crucible, Miller creates a specific group of young girls who accuses countless amount of men and women of witchcraft. Abigail, the leader of the girls, testifies in many of the executions taken place by lying about the people’s collaboration with the devil. As one of the antagonists of the story, she intends to kill Elizabeth, the wife of her paramour, John Proctor.
I believe Officer Smith 's response of calling back up and then deciding to go knock at the sex offenders door was a good decision to make. But Officer Smith should have waited for backup before investigating another home. I believe Officer Smith also made the mistake of breaking into the sex offenders home after no response because of no proof and definitely because of no warrant. He had no authorization To break in.
The first murder involved a 17-year-old male and his 16-year-old girlfriend who were shot dead near their car at a secluded location on Lake Herman port. The police could not establish the motive of these initial killings or a suspect to the murders. The second incident involved the shootings of a woman aged 22 and her boyfriend who was aged 19 who were sitting in a car that was parked in a remote location similar to the first incident. A man with a flashlight who fired several shots at them attacked the two killing the man and seriously wounding the woman. After the shooting, a man called the police, gave the location of the crime, and claimed responsibility for the attack and the previous attack.
In Arthur Miller’s The Crucible Abigail Williams, a young, headstrong woman , is the main villain of this story. Most people will say Abigail is the victim but the only thing she is a victim of is a broken heart. The reasons of her being the fellon are she started the witch hoax and tried to rid of Goody Proctor. Abigail commenced the whole witch hoax in order to save herself from getting into trouble for ‘dancing’ in the woods.
