Bullying is a serious problem all over the nation and can lead to more serious problems. The columbine shooting was a cause of two students who were constantly being bullied. The gunfire that opened at columbine high school, was also one of the most horrendous massacre at a school. There are two different types of serial killers, they can be either a psychopath or sociopath. A psychopath are people who blend into society and can easily gain people’s trust. On the other hand, there’s also sociopath killers. Sociopath killers usually don’t blend in with society and can’t hold a steady job. In this case, Eric can be seen as a psychopath and Dylan as a sociopath. Bullying is a major issue all across America, In schools, communities, and in society also. In the documentary called BULLY kids all across the school are being bullied and many of the teachers and faculty are doing nothing to stop it. Over 3.2 million kids across the world are being bullied. When kids got bullied at this school the principal does nothing to stop this and the kids are getting depressed and do not want to go back to school.
Social promotion is the practice of passing students along from grade to grade with their peers even if the students have not satisfied academic requirements or met performance standards at key grades. Many people think that this wrong but I disagree with that because many kids that held back either drop out of school, are being bullyed and even have insecurity problems. These problems all can be avoid by just one simple action Social promotion. Most states that don’t believe in social promotion have a high dropout rate and this is because once a kid gets held back they start to lack in school and start not to care any more once they get retained. Once kids drop out of school they have basicly gave have half of there life up cause education is the key to success and kids dropping out is not a good at all.
America needs to start doing extra about a massive issue called bullying. Bullying affects 28% of kids sixth through twelfth grade in the United States. As is, bullying is becoming an increasing issue. About twenty years ago is when the bullying started to become a problem and now it is spiraling out of control. One of the many cliches is that the bigger kid is the bully, however, that is not always the case.
