Employees who are known as the “face” of a business are impacted by what they see and hear coming through the organization and not only in a formal way. These are the individuals who project an image and paint a perception of the company. Like most organizations, CVS stores are composed of a Store manager, assistant managers, supervisors, and regular employees. Most organizations lack effective communication between employees but after working for them for 6 years, I never felt that way in my store. If I had an issue that was affecting my work performance, the store manager would take a few minutes of his time to communicate with me and see how we can solve the problem. In addition, in the break room, we had a board where we would communicate messages to each other. If an employee who worked over night had to address an issue with the Manager, he/she would give the message to the supervisor on duty and also write it on the board ( not the issue- but that he/she needed to speak to manager ) to make sure the message was delivered. CVS has always managed to develop and maintain a strong organizational culture which gives the company many benefits such as enhanced mutual trust
