Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson are three of the strongest presidents the United States has ever had. From ending Slavery, defeating the british, and expanding the country west, the three presidents proved their significant power in office. Although they all had a big influence to this country, the strongest of the three was Abraham Lincoln. Abraham Lincoln is the strongest president because of his extraordinary leadership skills, issuing the emancipation proclimation to end slavery, and appointing opposing, trustworthy political parties to see things from both sides.
Abraham Lincoln cetainly lives up to his name "Honest Abe." His leadership skills proves that he is committed and qualified in being the strongest president. "It was Lincoln's leadership, his commitment to values, and his strong moral fiber that made it possible for America to find its way though the Civil War," (The Great Emancipator, Paragraph 3). His leadership skills is what helped put abusing African Slaves to an end. Abraham Lincoln always had the intention of doing what was right for the whole country or the greater good. Before considering Lincoln as a leader, one must first discern the differences between Lincoln the legacy , and Lincoln the man. After all, Lincoln was initially just a lawyer turned politician, not exactly two highly regarded occupations. It is, in fact, the time period which distinguishes Lincoln amongst other presidents, and lifts him to such high esteem. He was elected in a time of national unrest, and sided with the moral high ground in the Civil War, but this does not necessarily make him a moral man.

As for my personal opinion, I believe that Abramham Lincoln was our nations best President. Lincoln is remembered for his character and leadership, his speeches and letters, and most importantly his impact on the end of slavery here in the United States.
Out of all forty four Presidents that have served the nation and its needs, there is one President that has served as an outstanding leader. Rutherford B. Hayes was one of the most influential Republican presidents during the 1800s. He was the 19th president of the United States, and he served during one of the toughest but greatest terms during his election. He battled through rebuilding the nation and making peace between the Democrats and Republicans. Hayes experienced the Civil War which gave him the right to appoint issues for the Americans.
In my opinion George Washington is the strongest president. Why? becase he was a genral in the British army then left adn became the commander of the continental army he was a war hero and every one knew him. He was elected twice but not the third and not because no one voted for him but because he drop out because he wanted his own life. After retiring "George Washington was rewarded for his superior leadership skills when he was given the tremendous responibility of serving as the nations first president.
Our nation has had many great leaders and presidents. Many people could argue for hours over who was the best president and why. For me, the top three presidents were Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson. They were each great for many different reasons and without them our nation wouldnt be the way it is today but personally, i think George Washington was the best and most influlential president. If you ask anyone in America who were the top leaders of our nation, Geroge Washington would almost always be on the top of most people list.

I think Abraham Lincoln was a great president for the united stated. He did good things because some of those things were hard for his father. Like he made water ways to trade goods better. That was one of the problems Lincolns father had as a farmer. But Lincoln made it better for the people.

Abraham Lincoln was tested on several occasions during his role as the sixteenth president of the United States. However, he was certainly one of the greatest presidents, if not the greatest, to ever hold the office. His presidency was during one of the lowest points this country has seen, but with Lincoln’s leadership this country turned around and united. Lincoln became an effective leader through his childhood, his core principles or leadership traits, and who he surrounded himself with.
