After reading the articles above I was shocked to hear about the extent of elderly abuse. It stunned me how many people were victims of this problem. One thing that I was surprised about and confused me was, If there is all this evidence proving that these people were abused, Why had nothing been done to stop these people before it was too late. In the second paragraph the author spoke of Marie Espinoza, a victim of elderly abuse. Oliva, her daughter was the first one to notice signs of abuse. She saw bruises, bedsores and even broken bones.
