I remember a time when we were little. We all got along, but as time went on we started to compete against each other to see who is the best. From the book Fahrenheit 451 the quote “I’m afraid of children my own age. They kill each other. Did it always use to be that way? My uncle says no. Six of my friends have been shot in the last year alone. Ten of them died in car wrecks. I’m afraid of them and they don't like me because I am afraid. My uncle says his grandfather remembered when children didn't kill each other. But that was a long time ago when they had things different”. This quote tells us how our world has changed. When we were younger we were not afraid to be ourselves to be unique or special. But now when society tells us to be our …show more content…

This collage shows the social issues of our society for teens. Our collage represents all of the social issues that teens face today. Teens today are so involved in social media and themselves that they don't take the time to step back and be themselves. One type of image we put on the college is beauty. Fahrenheit 451 Essay Fahrenheit 451 is unlike modern American society due to the drastic differences in overall citizen happiness, social censorship, and human connection. One of the main reasons Fahrenheit 451 is drastically different is due to the differences in the morale of the citizens we can see this when Mildred overdoses on sleeping pills (Bradbury 10) within the story and the medical technicians explain how common this is in the city which would give us an idea of how many people overdose from drugs which would result from poor lives in there oppressed civilization as opposed to the U.S which has many patriotic people that love the country and would fight for it whenever needs to be as shown in Statista where according to them 85% of Americans consider themself patriotic.

Compare and contrast My society is very similar to the book Fahrenheit 451, writing by Ray Bradbury, however it is also very different as well. My society is very similar to Fahrenheit 451 society because we both have lots of freedom compared to most places. The reason why I say both society have more freedom than most places is because both societies can pick their own jobs, and choose their own clothing, and get to choose who they want to marry, however places like Russia and Isis they can 't choose what they want to do, people in Russia are assigned jobs and women are forced cover their faces. Everyone wants a society that is perfect in every way, but this is not possible. The book, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, contains a society that tried to be perfect, but the society ended up in a situation that is far from perfect. They wanted to avoid anything unpleasant.
