Roosevelt the greatest President of all time, he is also the most important President of all time. On October 29, 1929, the world experienced the Great Depression, a time of economic depression throughout the nations. In the United States, it was especially bad, because the President at the time, Herbert Hoover, decided it would be a great idea to “wait the Depression out,” until it ends.
