Roosevelt the greatest President of all time, he is also the most important President of all time. On October 29, 1929, the world experienced the Great Depression, a time of economic depression throughout the nations. In the United States, it was especially bad, because the President at the time, Herbert Hoover, decided it would be a great idea to “wait the Depression out,” until it ends. However, this is not how Franklin D. Roosevelt pictured it, FDR thought that something must be done for the people and for the nation. With his strong campaigning, he was elected President in 1932.
