John Adams is one of the best “Adams” to be remember, especially as one of the most influential voices of the American Revolution. He had very strong opinions, and wise ones, and a very good solid background on studies, since he was born in a rich family, and he started to read and write when he was very young. His strong opiniones had a great influence in the American Revolution, especially in writing letters, and the declaration of Indipendence itself. Without him and his influence in my opinion the United States of America would have been a free. country.

In the early 1760, Boston was starting of with a rebellion, because the British Parliament began to put many taxes, including the Quartering Act, Sugar Act, Stamp Act and others, because they had to pay for the French and Indian war. This taxes angered the colonists because they thought that it was not the fair thing to do and they did not have their natural rights. The more taxes lead to new protests. …show more content…

This was a really important event, that we remember now days too. Since the colonists boycotted many things especially the tea, that made it worse for the British East Indian Company. The colonists believed that the British were tricking them to buy tea, instead of paying tax. in 1773, the Boston Patriots dressed as Indians, they boarded three British ships laden with tea and dumped the tea into the harbor. After all of these harsh measures the colonies take action and have the first continental congress. To pressure Parliament to withdraw the Coerce Acts, the delegates announced a boycott of all British imports. John Adams believed that the Americans could unite all 13 colonies and defeat the
