The Seven Years War, “was truly a world war in which the conflict spilled out from the American colonies to other parts of the world”. The war ended with the “Treaty Of Paris” and it also provided Great Britain with enormous territorial gains in North America but before we get to that we should talk about how it started. There were one-hundred and fifty years of conflict with the French and British which ended with the Seven Years War. The war began with the French and the First Peoples combined to force “expel” the British colonists from Ohio valley in 1754. The local fight quickly escalated into a full out war.

The Boston Massacre This is Tyair Sallam, reporting live from Boston, in position to inform news upon the Boston "Bloody" Massacre across the colonies. The British had repealed almost all of the Townshend Acts! The repeal of the Townshend Acts brought peace and stability to the colonies, but only temporarily. Colonist newspapers portrays the British as tyrants, "lobster backs", who are willing to kill people who stood up for their rights. Bostonians referred to the British troops stationed there as "lobster backs" due to the red coats they wore.
“It took only few hours for the tragic events to unfold on the evening in March of 1770, starting from a confrontation with the British regulars and ending with the death of five colonists. It took several years to get to the situation. The Boston Massacre is best understood in the context of several other key historic events.” “The heavy presence of British troops in Boston that lead to the fatal shooting was the direct results of the Townshend Acts passed by British Parliament to impose additional taxes on common products imported into the Colonies.
Two named Samuel Maverick and Patrick Carr, died later. After the violent event, Captain Preston and his men were taken to court, defended by John Adams and Josiah Quincy II, and two soldiers were found guilty of murder. This insane event led to the evacuation of the British army from Boston. Also, this event played a crucial role in initiating the American Revolution. I have never deeply studied the Boston Massacre, so I found the articles I read about the event extremely interesting.

If the following events didn’t take place we wouldn’t have America. In my opinion the Boston Massacre was one of the very main causes to why the Road to Revolution took place. The reason I believe this was an important cause because it was, “ the first episode which resulted in the loss of life.” It is stated that, “Four Bostonians were killed when Redcoats fired into an angry mob.”
The French and Indian War was important to the American Revolution because the debt from the war was the reason that Parliament started taxing the colonists. Also, the French and Indian War made Britain very weak, making the colonists’ actions work a whole lot better. Since France was not happy with the outcome of their war with Britain this was a main reasons for France’s interest in helping the now Americans throughout the Revolutionary War, which was very important to the colonies’ victory. The reason why Britain started to tax the colonists was because of the debt resulting from the French and Indian War. The first tax was the the tax on sugar, which was put on the colonists to help pay off the war debt.
Tensions were high in Boston between the British and the Colonists. Between the Boston Massacre in 1770 and the Boston Tea Party in 1773, Britain was very upset with Boston. King George III, the Lord North- led British government and many of the British citizens were very upset and irritated when they found out that the Boston colonists had made “Tea with salt water”. Once the parliament heard of their escapade, they began thinking of a way to insure that there would be no more uprisings in the Massachusetts colony.
