The Industrial Revolution was a time of great change. The Industrial Revolution began in Britain during this time they started to see goods being massed produced. Before the revolution goods were typically made by hand one at a time. This meant that many types of goods that people need they made there self. According to the History channel “People produced the bulk of their own food, clothing, furniture and tools. Most manufacturing was done in homes or small, rural shops, using hand tools or simple machines.”
However during the revolution things began to change. They started to mass produce goods this meant that instead of hand making a shirt or pair of pants you could just go out and buy a pair. This proved to be very good for the upper class however for the lower class it created some very bad working and living conditions because employees safety or wellbeing was not on the owner's mind. If the industrial revolution had never happened it would have had a huge impact on the way we live today. Today we have stores that you can walk into and find almost anything that you may need. If you need a gallon of milk just go to the store and buy it. How ever if the industrial revolution had never happened anything that you need you would have to hand make it yourself. Furthermore instead of going out starting your car up and driving from point A to point B you would either be walking or riding a horse. Due to this major advancement, agriculturalists needed to leave their property and urbanize to what became bustling cities. The most plentiful occupation that required workers were the frightening industrial facilities. These horrid factories changed the lives of these farmers compelling them to work over a dozen hours in a day.
Another important positive economic effect of the Industrial Revolution can be found in Document # 2. The document was created by Charles Knight who was a writer for working class people to talk about the positive things in England, 1831. The author point of view is that he’s arguing that society is getting better. The document explains that houses are better constructed and clothes are less expensive and also that trains are faster and cheaper. He also said it that the society is getting better.

This revolution in the 19th century involved many different factors that combined and formed the ultimate advancement that allowed England to progress and industrialize.
