My successful complex higher duties in different business lines demonstrate my ability to adapt quickly to new work environment even at short notice. Often, my responsibilities include other competing priorities such as: preparing, coordinating and compiling documents for our required periodic reports including Senate Estimates briefs coordinate responses to ministerial correspondence. The excellent feedback from managers proves my willingness to take on new tasks with diligence and an ability to work under pressure. My substantive work is a transition from my secondment to …show more content…
I promptly responded to their enquiries and provided guidance to directly assist and develop foreign investors understanding of these policies. I have assisted my senior supervisor to liaise with the checking of our newly registered foreign real estate and agricultural land forms to validate recording including responsibility to manually enter notifications advised by email through our on-line system. Vetting of the land registry forms including database clean up was a challenging process. Most of these online submissions by the external parties were incomplete, submitted in the wrong format or the insufficient details coded for the database system to accept for recordkeeping. This created a backlog that jeopardised the timely completion of the land registration report required by Treasury. To address this issue, I: provided a briefing to my team manager outlining my concerns about our database problem proposed options to resolve this system difficulty, including addressing issues concerning electronic acceptance of information initiated and consulted the database programmer on how to streamline the land registering form to make downloading of the form more proficient set up a team meeting to discuss this

When I first joined the care home, on my first day at work, I was given my job description along with the induction book and folder to be completed within the 6 weeks before my first supervision with the line manager. I have been involved in a number of activities in my placement at Wright Chambers, mostly to do with criminal matters rather than civil. I have accompanied Nick and a client to the Hindley Street Police Station. We met with Nick’s client and the client’s wife outside of the station and Nick gave him some brief directions about not saying anything, even if he believed it would help his situation. Remembering Kay Lauchland’s reading, I tried to establish a rapport with the pair, and build client comfort. Nick left the three of us for some time, and I spoke to the pair at some length.

The use of rhetorical knowledge, critical thinking, reading and writing all are the important aspects in this course.
Today, was a slow day. I was helping one of the assistant’s mail documents in the morning and in the afternoon my supervisor, Ashley, gave me file information forms of the clients. As a writer I know that it is necessary to take others ' feedbacks as a reflection of my writing process. Throughout the semester, I take my peers ' comment very seriously because it is the only way to know how good my writting skill is, how professional I am, and what kind of flaws I need to fix. I have used those comments intensively to fix my Issue Proposal essay, as well as my Exploratory essay. I believe that those comments are the reasons help my paper more compelling and effective. One thing I notice is that the comments remind me the errors that I have overlooked.
Part D: Development as a Psychologist This internal practical internship offered me an opportunity to focus on using the knowledge and skills acquired during the related courses on behavior training with children and cognitive behavior therapy with adolescents to practice my therapeutic work as a child and adolescent psychologist and a chance to see how psychological therapies (behavior training and cognitive behavior therapy) could be delivered in different settings. At first, I found it challenging to work independently and decide what to do and when to do it. More specifically, during CBT+ component I was challenged by working with a depressive adolescent and applying my skills and knowledge on the “spot”. On the other hand, my
I have spent my entire life trying to discover and understand who am I, when I joined the Coaching class and was asked to introduce myself for 3 minutes it sounded like a breeze in the sand. Then I was asked to do it again without repeating my introduction and boom that was easy once more. In my head I am a Human Resources professional and all we do is talk when interviewing, reprimanding, training, coaching, guiding, accessing and many more times. Then the last blow came I have to introduce myself for the third time round, my thoughts were racing what have I not said about myself, what did I tell the 2 previous candidates, “what’s new Daisy, you have to find it think! think!

My Identity Defined My Identity is a collaboration of the other people who have had an impact on me, as well as the experiences I have undergone and endured so far in my life.. My heritage and ethnicity influences me to an extent, but it does not necessarily define me. I consider my identity to be how I see myself and what strengths I posses. I have produced the identity I hold, and outside forces have only positively influence me and helped to better myself as a person.
For my job shadowing experience I went to Eversheds, it is a corporate law firm and their offices in Johannesburg are in Melrose Arch. Writing project 3 has shown me the importance of writing something that is of interest for you, an issue that you are passionate about. I think that I have started to get somewhat better at the structuring of my writing and using outlines before I jump into a draft. I am no longer as scared and hesitant to write, as I was the first writing project. I think a good goal that I accomplished from this project was using diverse sources in my writing. I was able to utilize a magazine post, newspaper article and research journals to form my argument and provide support.
The question posed in the title, “Who am I?” is very simple but the answers are never so. What defines me as who I am as a person today are relatively my attitude, my personal values and beliefs to life that developed throughout my life. “Values are constructs that we hold as important and beliefs are constructs that we hold to be true (Collins & Chippendale, 1995)”. Meanwhile, attitudes are relatively lasting clusters of emotions, beliefs, and behavior tendencies directed towards specific ideas, people or objects (Baron & Byrne, 1984). Generally, my family members, friends and the experiences I had contribute to my sense of who I am and how I view the world.
